Botulinum toxin administration

Botulinum toxin application is the most common aesthetic procedure in the world. It is a purified protein obtained from the bacterium Clostridium botulinum. It prevents electrical transmission from nerve to muscle by preventing the release of acetylcholine at the neuromuscular junction. Thus, excessive contraction of mimic muscles is prevented for 4-6 months. With botulinum toxin application, frown lines, horizontal lines on the forehead, crow's feet, gum smile, rabbit lines on the nose, orange peel appearance on the chin can be treated.

It is very effective in the treatment of migraine as well as in the treatment of armpit, hand and foot sweating (hyperhidrosis).
